You must be over 18 years of age to collect your air weapon or be accompanied by an adult.
We accept no responsibility for damage to your property before receipt.
Please remove all unnecessary accessories ie, scopes, mounts, silencer / sound moderators.
Parcelforce are the only postal service willing to accept low powered air rifles and they will only insure up to £100 in the event of loss or damage during transit. We have never had any problems with Parcelforce, but you do need to be aware of their terms.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your air gun is wrapped safely for shipping. We recommend that you wrap the gun in bubble-wrap (or similar packing materials) to protect it and use a sturdy box. Pack the box out to ensure the gun & the contents cannot move about. Please remember to include a note with your contact details (name, address, contact telephone number and email address if you have one) together with a list of the contents of the package and the service that you require ie. Full Service & Upgrade.
Some of our services ask that you supply us with pellets - we will need a tin of the pellets that you use REGULARLY. This enables us to set up/fine tune the power output of your air weapon to ensure that it remains within the UK legal limit. Please bear in mind when providing pellets that the grains (weight) effects the power, eg. if you supply us with 13.43gr pellets for your .177 Rifle, we will set the power output using these pellets. If you then use lighter pellets (eg. 8.44gr) you will experience a drop in power. (This is the opposite for springers - the lighter the pellet, the greater the power). If you do not supply us with pellets, you will be charged accordingly.
Our Service Engineers are authorised to work on air weapons that are within the standard UK legal output limit only (currently 12ft lb and hereinafter referred to as “standard”). Air weapons are presumed to be standard when received by us and within the legal output limit. If we find that this is not the case, we will reduce the power output accordingly.
We ask that you do not attempt to alter the work carried out by our Service Engineers for at least 30 days of receiving your air weapon. If there is a fault with our service, including defects in parts, subject to our own testing, we will repair the item. Should a part that we have replaced during a service malfunction within a 3 month period commencing the date we despatched or returned the item, we will replace the part at no cost to you. In this case, our labour will not be charged unless it is apparent that the weapon has been tampered with by yourself or your agent following our repair or service. In such cases, we have no liability to rectify the fault and reserve the right to charge for our services, including return postage costs.
Should any weapon be received by us and found to have been modified, mishandled or parts fitted incorrectly by you or your agent, we cannot accept any liability in respect of that item. We will, at our discretion, attempt to repair the weapon, although additional charges may apply. We will advise you of costs prior to undertaking such additional repair works.
We maintain the right to refuse any repair.
