HW100TUNING

HW110 power adjustment (once at is removed by hw100tuning)

The tools you need to adjust the power on the Weihrauch HW110 once the anti tamper has been removed

What you will need:

  • Make sure the HW110 is unloaded and the magazine is removed
  • Remove the Scope
  • A small hammer
  • A small parallel pin punch (2.5mm)
  • 3mm Allen key
  • 4mm Allen Key

What to do:

Removing the stock from the Weihrauch HW110

Remove the stock from the action - do this by using the 4mm Allen Key to remove the two securing bolts found under the stock found in Picture 1.

Once the stock is removed, it will look like Picture 2.

Removing the pin from the Weihrauch HW110 to allow the trigger section to be removed

Next, use the parallel pin punch to knock out the steel dowel - keep the punch square and tap gently, it should come out quite easily.

Removing the screw that holds the trigger section of the Weihrauch HW110

Once you have the pin out, flip the action over so that the bottom (trigger section) is facing upwards.  Using the 3mm Allen Key, remove the Allen bolt indicated by the red arrow in the picture.

Removing the trigger guard from the Weihrauch HW110

Then simply slide off the trigger guard.

Using a 4mm allen key to adjust the hammer spring tension (power) on the Weihrauch HW110

Next, use the 4mm Allen key to adjust the hammer spring tension. Do this in very small increments, 1/8 of a turn at a time, the adjuster bar inside the shuttle is VERY thin, if you turn the adjuster screw too hard you may snap the adjuster bar - anti clockwise to increase tension (power), clockwise to decrease tension (power).

PLEASE NOTE....

You CAN cock & fire the gun, you do not have to put it all back together every time you make a small change. Pop a moderator on the gun and test it over a chrono until you are happy that the gun is at the correct power (UK legal limit is 12 ft lb unless you have it on FAC). Be very careful not to catch the trigger as it will NOT have the guard on.
